10 Things to Remember – Free Printable!

Hi there! This season in life has definitely been a busy one, so I thought I would share the 10 things that I am working on trying to remember. These are simple truths that I need reminded of throughout the days that seemingly run together.

#1. It’s okay to take a break. This one is a challenging one for me, but I have found that the benefits of learning to rest and be still makes it worth creating the habit of resting.

#2. Getting behind is not failure. Getting behind is not failure, especially during seasons of life where other things take priority. Sometimes I have to adjust, and that is 100% okay. Remember, it’s just a season. ❤️

#3. It’s okay to have a bad day. Every single person, no matter how big or small, will have a bad day. That is completely okay.

#4. Most bad days are bad moments. This is another hard one. As I mentioned above it is 100% okay to have a bad day. However, I am trying to work on whether or not my day is just a hard day, or if I turned it into a bad day because something happened for 5 minutes that was hard. It’s a different mindset for sure.

#5. Asking for help is a strength. This is another one that is SO hard for me. It’s a mix of not wanting to inconvenience anyone and thinking I can do it all when I can’t. It takes humility.

#6. Not everyone has to like you. Wow. Just wow! This one, again, is so difficult for me. I tend to be more of a people pleaser than I should be, and trying to please everyone only hurts myself. At the end of the day, as long as I am authentically myself, then nothing I do can make someone like me. The quicker this truth is embraced, the happier I am!

#7. Small steps are still progress. It doesn’t matter how small and slow you think you are going, because when you stop and look at the bigger picture, chances are that you are accomplishing great and wonderful things!

#8. God is good. This is the most important thing to always have on the forefront of my mind. Looking at life and seeing all the blessings found within it is one of the most beautiful ways to make the long days seem not so long.

#9. …if not, God is still good. I have learned throughout my life that some of my greatest blessings are when God chooses to answer prayers in HIS perfect time, and not when I want the prayer to be answered. So much beauty happens in the waiting.

10. Be kind to yourself. It is so easy to bestow kindness upon my children, family, and friends. However being kind to myself is somewhat of a challenge. Especially when mama guilt starts creeping in. Being kind to myself is one of the great ways to model what kindness is to my little people. So many blessings stem from just showing myself more grace and kindness.

Thank you for being here! ❤️
