Homeschool Organization With No School Room

Today was the day that I was finally able to get all of our new school supplies out and organized for the new school year! Since our house is smaller, we don’t have an extra room or space set aside for homeschooling, so we use the dining room as our “school room”. Honestly, I LOVE it. So many memories are created around the dining room table. Lessons are taught and learnt, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are eaten, art projects are completed, games are played, and the family comes together in magical ways.

Because our dining room is a multi-purpose room, we have learned to utilize what storage we do have, and have finally discovered some things that work well for our family when it comes to organizing our homeschool. Let’s take a look at some of our favorite organization items!

We got this 10 drawer rolling cart at Michael’s for this year, and we are loving it so far!
It fits all of our school supplies so nicely.
It doesn’t take up much space, and fits nicely in our dining room corner.
We not only have our daily school supplies in this cart, but we keep the curriculum we use on a daily basis in this cart as well. It is so nice when everything we use daily is right next to the table!
My other favorite find for this school year, is this “craft keeper“!
We use it for storing our flash cards, and math manipulative items in!
I love how organized it keeps everything! Highly recommend picking one up if you’re needing a place to organize your flash cards in!
